The A-DRY Desiccant Adsorption Dryer is a high-efficiency drying solution designed to remove moisture from compressed air and achieve ultra-low pressure dew points as low as -70°C. Engineered for reliable and continuous operation, this dryer uses dual adsorption columns filled with desiccant to effectively separate water vapor from the air.

With a wide flow rate range of 6 Nm3/h to 200 Nm3/h, the A-DRY series offers versatile drying solutions for industrial applications. Its compact and modular design allows for easy installation, servicing, and maintenance while ensuring consistent air quality.

Applications of A-DRY Adsorption Dryers

The A-DRY adsorption dryer is ideal for applications requiring extremely dry compressed air, especially where freezing or high air purity is necessary:

Outdoor compressed air systems (prevention of freezing)
Food & Beverage Industry (process air compliance)
Pharmaceutical & Medical Applications (high-purity air)
Electronics & Semiconductor Manufacturing (moisture-sensitive environments)
Chemical & Petrochemical Industry (process air drying)

How Does the A-DRY Adsorption Dryer Work?

The A-DRY adsorption dryer operates with dual desiccant columns, alternating between adsorption and regeneration cycles:

Adsorption Cycle: Moisture is absorbed by the desiccant in one column while the other regenerates.
Regeneration Cycle: A portion of dry compressed air is used to remove moisture from the desiccant, ensuring continuous operation.
Switch-Over Process: The system automatically switches between the columns without pressure drops, maintaining uninterrupted airflow.

Operating Modes The A-DRY adsorption dryer offers multiple operating modes for efficiency:

Fixed Cycle Mode: Standard timer-controlled switchovers, reducing wear and optimizing air consumption.
Variable Cycle Mode (Dew Point Dependent): Smart sensor-controlled switchovers based on real-time dew point readings, reducing purge air consumption to below 3%.
Stand-By Mode: Allows air to pass freely through both towers when the system is inactive, maintaining efficiency and reducing energy waste.
